Reed.co.uk and nearshore software development partner, Godel is delighted to be named a finalist in the 2022 Digital Technology Leaders Awards. The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of the people and companies who “are really making it happen at the coal face of the digital technology stack”.

Reed.co.uk is one of the UK’s leading careers marketplaces, connecting people to a world of career opportunities online. The business partnered with Godel in 2017 to help increase capacity, flexibility and resource for various areas of the business to overall improve the experience for Reed.co.uk’s customers.
With the number of job vacancies rapidly increasing, Reed.co.uk decided to modernise and re-platform its mobile app to keep up with the growing demand. Designed to make job hunting easy “on-the-go”, the Reed.co.uk Job Search app aims to provide users with the ability to search and apply for a job, upload a CV, track favourite vacancies and customise and update their profile.
“The mobile team has worked hard to ensure we test and validate ideas with research participants to ensure we find solutions that will work for our customers. This then feeds into the work that is carried out by our App teams. We are constantly trying to uncover ways to shorten our feedback loops wherever possible to discover issues as early as possible in development with the ultimate aim of getting our new features to market as quickly as possible.” Ian Wermerling, Agile Team Coach at Reed.co.uk
