Godel DevOps Engineer, Siarhei Rudnitski, has been highly commended at the 2019 Computing DevOps Excellence Awards. This places him amongst a list of prestigious winners at the awards, with projects, teams and individuals from organisations such as Yodel, Docker and Aviva having also been recognized for their outstanding DevOps achievements.

In his time at Godel Siarhei has proven himself as an integral member of the company’s DevOps division. In 2017 Godel invested £500,000 into its Cloud and DevOps centres of excellence in response to rising demand for its DevOps expertise. It has since grown its headcount rapidly, to meet demand for Godel’s UK clients.

Siarhei was a driving force in the delivery of one client’s mission critical DevOps project. This project saw Siarhei shoulder significant responsibilities from both technical and team leadership standpoints. By applying his DevOps expertise across areas such as AWS, containerisation and CI/CD processes, he has enabled the project to be delivered on time.

“Siarhei’s team were working as early adopters of the Kubernetes platform for production usage in AWS, along with fully automated build and deployment processes. Siarhei went above and beyond to complete sprint goals on time. For me his hard work is a real sign of personal investment and motivation to achieve project results.

Everyone in our team really believes he is the best (although Siarhei is very modest). His knowledge and experience are so broad – he can answer any questions just straight away without preparation. I speak on behalf of everyone at Godel that we are all proud to work alongside him.” – Sergey Sverchkov, Head of DevOps, Godel Technologies.

Godel’s DevOps division provides engineering expertise across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. It has worked with many UK clients to provide the skills they require for modernising and transforming mission-critical solutions.
