Godel creates dedicated mobile development division
Godel has brought together its team of mobile engineers into a new dedicated mobile development division, scaling its existing capabilities to meet the increasing demand from customers for mobile applications.
The dedicated division will take the lead in providing extended capability to deliver dedicated software development teams where customers’ in-house mobile development skills currently do not exist or can’t be acquired fast enough. The team will deliver a range of services based around Xamarin, React Native or native apps for Android and iOS.
“As the company grows and matures, we are exposed to more areas of our client’s operations which opens up new challenges and opportunities leading to the addition of new service offerings in line with the business demands of those organisations,” explains Elena Polubochko, CTO, Godel.
“We have worked closely with client Agri-food tech business, Muddy Boots to deliver a consolidated cross-platform mobile strategy built on Xamarin – engineering a single mobile solution for Android, iOS and Windows and allowing the organisation to retire legacy apps and scale across new markets. We also worked closely with YOTI, the mobile digital identity app to develop the back-end application for Android and also delivered UX and UI services for the company.
“It’s the right time for Godel to set up our capabilities as a separate structure to promote knowledge sharing and gain specific expertise in mobile. We can better provide dedicated mobile services to clients – including a tech-lead – the Godel person who is responsible for aligning to the technical goals and mobile roadmap on behalf of the customer.”
Sergey Adamenia will head up the new team as head of mobile development – he has led many of the mobile projects that Godel has been involved with to date and has excellent knowledge of the technologies and how they are applied to best effect.
“We’ve already made leaps and bounds into being able to offer a mobile strategy to customers – we have the warts and all experience but annexing these capabilities as a standalone division will ensure we are the go to organisation for business to implement it to best effect when meeting their objectives,” concludes Elena Polubochko.
