Godel Announces Exciting Expansion News in Poland

In April 2021, Godel opened its first Polish office in Lodz and within its first year saw considerable growth, with over 300 Godel employees now working in the location. Godel’s presence in Poland is not only attractive to UK clients due to the location’s excellent status, but it has also brought substantial benefits for local recruitment in the area.

Currently, there is a big demand for recruitment in Poland. The country is one of Europe’s most developed tech hubs, with both global and local companies looking to hire top tech talent and a big increase in start-ups across all major cities. This has meant the hiring market is now very competitive.

Due to the excelled growth and brand reputation, Godel decided to open a second Polish office in Wroclaw, the fourth largest metropolitan area in Poland.

“To enable Godel to deliver our ambitious plans, we decided opening a second Polish location will allow us to grow at pace and continue to scale to the same level of quality that our customers have come to expect. Our Journey in Poland so far has been incredible, and we look forward to welcoming new opportunities.” – Neil McMurdo, Chief Executive Officer at Godel.

Sylwia Skorupka, Head of Operations in Lodz said “In terms of opportunity, Wroclaw has lots to offer. It is currently home to approximately 112,000 students, and as many as 15,000 studying IT-related faculties. Wroclaw is known as the Silicon Valley of Poland with over 30,000 IT specialists in the area with opportunities coming from big organisations, with a large percentage of them working in IT departments for those companies.”

The office is located in the modern Business Garden, which is near to the city centre. Wroclaw is a desirable location thanks to its extensive network of transport links, with Wroclaw Airport in close proximity to the city centre. The city constantly looks to invest in pro-ecological solutions such as trams, trains, city bikes and scooters.

“We believe our new office space in Wroclaw will allow our employees to settle into the business. Business growth is secondary because without retaining our values, our business model would not work. Every employee is a valuable part of the company, and we can only be successful by upholding our three company values above everything.

Godel works hard to keep up with the demand of our customers and opening new geographical locations allows us to do so. Godel works closely to build strong long-lasting relationships with our clients from the outset, laying the foundation of the reputation for excellence that we continue to build upon today. We truly believe that one of our main goals is maintaining our company ethos and quality as we scale.” Concludes Neil

Reflecting on Godel’s expansion news, Andrew Afanasenko, Chief Operating Officer at Godel said “The IT market in Wroclaw has accelerated due to having highly skilled developers that have a fantastic mix of communication and technical skills. The incredible opportunity will see Godel in the heart of an IT market that is constantly thriving, making it the ideal location to expand our Godel presence in Poland.”
