Godel has once again been recognised as one of the fastest growing companies in the North at the Northern Tech Awards. It moved up the rankings to 22nd – a further seven places from last year (29th) and has been in the top 50 since 2014.
The awards – this year held in Manchester – championed key players in the region’s digital sector, celebrating the successful entrepreneurial path of business founders and leaders. Compiled by GP Bullhound the European technology investment bank, the awards recognise the entrepreneurs and businesses that have led the growth of the Northern digital economy in the past year.
Hugh Campbell, Managing Partner of GP Bullhound, commented: “It is great to see that Northern tech is still going strong. Extraordinary entrepreneurship, ambition and innovation are driving huge growth and taking the northern ecosystem from strength to strength, and our winners are testament to that success. The opportunity is there for even more Northern businesses to become international tech giants, and compete with London and US tech hubs.”
The Top 100 Fastest Growing Technology Companies are ranked in the Tech 100 League Table by revenue growth over the last three years. The top 50 are invited to the Northern Tech Awards ceremony to receive an award.
Godel, a nearshore software development company, reported its annual turnover had reached £21.7 million for the year to December 2018 – a 57% increase in turnover on FY2017 and the fourth year in a row where growth has been over 50%.
