Manchester-headquartered Godel recently celebrated Manchester Day to raise money and continue their support for HideOut Youth Zone.
Manchester Day is an annual event that celebrates everything great about the city. The day was created in 2010 to celebrate the creativity, diversity and pride of Manchester and communities that continue to do extraordinary things for the North-West city.
Godel is proud to be headquartered in the heart of Manchester, a major city in the northwest of England, which is known for being a leading northern tech hub, its rich industrial heritage, not to mention the famous Bury black pudding!

As part of the day, Godel challenged members of the Manchester office to cycle the distance between Godel and HideOut on an exercise bike. To make it interesting, a competition was put in place to see who could cycle 5 km in the fastest time. A total of 15 team members peddled a combined total of 75km over 24 hours, with the quickest time coming in at a humble 8:56. Many thanks to Bruntwood for donating an exercise bike for the event. Money was raised throughout the day which will go directly to help the Youth Zone.
Manchester Day is the perfect time to be thankful for all that makes Manchester great. Nothing expresses the true Mancunian spirit more than people coming together to support one another – and having a lot of fun in the process! We’re so grateful for Godel for choosing to fundraise on HideOut Youth Zone’s behalf.
Godel have been a vital part of the Youth Zone story and their support means we can continue our vital work to support the young people who are the future of Manchester.
Director of Fundraising & Communications, Patti Holmes
Located in Gorton, Manchester, HideOut Youth Zone is a charity dedicated to supporting young people aged 8-19 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs) by providing the three things which all young people need and deserve: somewhere safe to go, something positive to do, and someone trusted to talk to. Every donation made to the Youth Zone enables the centre to continue improving the lives of young people.
Godel has proudly been part of the Founder Patron campaign since 2019. Founder Patrons pledge to provide support to the Youth Zone which enables it to continue to support thousands of young Mancunians to grow the skills they need to overcome life’s challenges and develop the confidence and resilience they need to succeed.
As part of the patron campaign, Godel takes part in a number of fundraising activities every year, the most recent being the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run, where 8 Godel members took part in the ambitious 10km and half marathon, raising over £2000 for the Youth Zone.
