Mitie required a new software solution that would consolidate four existing systems; two in-house and two Oracle-based solutions into one application for use across the £85 million turnover property management division of Mitie Group.

Godel competed against many other larger software development companies to be chosen by the property management division of Mitie Group to develop a web-based, mission-critical software solution that will allow Mitie to coordinate maintenance and materials management across its estate of 400,000 UK properties.
The main goal of the Mitie project was to develop a bespoke software solution for Mitie’s social housing repair and maintenance services, including the functional areas such as managing work orders, contract and materials management including reactive repair and maintenance, capital and decency work across its estate of social housing the length and breadth of the UK. It will also allow call centre operatives to book jobs with repair and maintenance contractors whilst coordinating access to properties and requests from tenants.
“Working with Godel we are able to build a system from scratch that we estimate will save us £3 million in the next five years through efficiencies made in planning and scheduling time costs, and as we own the IP for the software, will save us thousands in licensing and hosting costs. The solution will also be scalable with our business over time, and will allow us to tailor our services to our clients in a much more personalised way”, – says Neil Campbell, Head of Business Solutions at Mitie.
