Using their unique market data and models, CACI helps Britain’s leading businesses acquire, retain and grow profitable customer relationships through a detailed understanding of consumer characteristics and behaviour.

Targeted advertising is essential for organisations wanting to remain competitive. It allows them to have a rich knowledge and engage with their target audiences more accurately and efficiently than ever before.

CACI has a world class reputation for the quality of its data and analytical services and for the customer insight and knowledge it generates for its clients in a variety of industries including financial services, telecoms, retail, media and publishing.

CACI is the UK’s leading marketing services company and to enable them to stay ahead of the competition they wanted to increase their software development capacity.

Simon Kelly, Operations Director at CACI looked at the cost effective options available which would allow them to get results quickly, having used outsourcers before he knew that this could be a possible solution. After looking at partners Simon preferred the benefits of using a nearshore software development partner and selected Godel’s dedicated team model.

Godel’s nearshore development team will work alongside CACI’s in-house team, working together and creating new features and products in the portfolio.

“Keeping ahead of the market place with cutting edge software is something that a partner like Godel is able to help us with. It’s scalable, so we can flexibly increase or decrease the team in Minsk should the need arise, and it provides us with a balance between efficiency and resource costs, which allows CACI to keep control over development and project expenditure.” explains Simon.

As an agile business, it was important that the partner CACI selected were confident in agile software delivery. Being able to communicate with their Godel dedicated team via the HD video conferencing equipment meant that the daily stand ups were held during UK core hours and enabled the two teams to create a strong working relationship.

As the relationship developed, the nearshore team became a natural extension of CACI’s in-house development team and together they had very successful results. Keen to continue delivering the quality features for the portfolio of products CACI agreed a long term partnership which allowed them to retain their Godel team whilst controlling expenditure for a longer period.

Describing what it’s like to work with Godel, Simon concludes:
“Flexibility, in terms of the model. Friendliness, in terms of the relationships. Cost effectiveness, in terms of the actual cost of delivery.”
