Job overview
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and work with us and our client team on a lab workflow automation platform. Ideal candidates have strong Python experience, are comfortable working with the React frontend and AWS, supervising less-experienced engineers. Passion for software development, excellent communication, and commitment to quality are essential.
We expect candidates to be located in one of the following cities: Warsaw, Wroclaw, Lodz, Gdansk or Bialystok.

Responsibilities
- Write effective, scalable code
- Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
- Ability to design microservices in the cloud
- Test and debug programs
- Improve functionality of existing systems
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Communicate with the team on a day-to-day basis
- Willingness to mentor/supervise 1-3 less-experienced engineers
- Influence decisions and take the responsibility for the results
Requirements
Must have:
- Strong background in Python development, preferably with 4+ years of solid commercial development
- Enhance client databases or design from scratch
- Cloud experience (AWS preferably)
- Familiarity with React + Typescript – understanding of basic concepts and minimal commercial experience
- Readiness to work on Windows OS
- Good English communication skills, at least B2 level
- Understanding of working in an agile environment
- Strong track record in ensuring code quality, testing, and employing best practices and software design patterns
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, allowing interaction and negotiation with analysis team
- Familiar with security standards
- Expertise in CI/CD, Docker, SSR
