DevOps Division
The award-winning DevOps division at Godel Technologies follows the latest trends and tendencies by migrating data to the Cloud. Our team of 50 professionals work with AWS, Azure and GCP clouds, applying their knowledge over multiple industries including transportation, travel, fashion, finance and more.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining cloud solutions following industry best practices
- Defining and documenting deployment processes and infrastructure maintenance according to best practices and strategies
- Ensure the performance, uptime, and scalability of infrastructure, while upholding high standards for code quality and thoughtful design
- Offer guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to enhance their cloud expertise
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to assess and identify optimal cloud solutions
- Participate in a day-to-day activity to provide development teams easier path to propagate changes across environments
- Alleviate the burden of operations and manual actions performed by the teams by automating whole delivery pipelines
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following cloud providers: Google Cloud, AWS, MS Azure. GCP is the preferred one
- Solid experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge around CI/CD processes (we use Gitlab CI), identifying and removing bottlenecks, improving overall experience of automation
- Proficiency in Ruby or Python is a plus
- Experience with any observability tools (NewRelic is a big plus, AppDynamics, etc.)
- Proficiency in Linux administration, manually managing servers etc.
- Ability to identify bugs, solve problems and propose a short-term and long-term solutions
- Knowledge to weigh in on complex discussions and passion to participate in them
- Software development or systems administration background
- Adaptable and quick learner in a fast-paced environment, consistently producing high-quality code
- Demonstrated ability in mentoring and coaching, fostering the professional growth of team members
- Written and spoken English: Intermediate or higher
