New office in Gdansk

The Tri-City Godel team, which has so far worked only remotely, already has 100 specialists. From now on, they will be able to use the modern space located in the Hiro office building, which is part of the Garnizon complex. The office offers employees a co-working space adapted to the company’s hybrid working model. Godel plans to increase employment by a further 50% over the next two years.

“Currently, the number of people employed in Poland has exceeded 1,000 employees, which confirms that our business is developing splendidly here. This is a great achievement for us, especially in the context of the company’s 20th birthday. This milestone is an excellent opportunity to announce the opening of a new office in the Tri-City, which is part of our global strategic plan.” – says Neil McMurdo, CEO of Godel Technologies.

Gdansk is an attractive location by the sea, offering direct flights to the UK with vast availability of talents, rich history, culture and universities.

Not only IT experts can find employment at Godel Technologies. Recruitment also includes administrative positions for the finance department, HR and Talent Acquisition, marketing or for the position of Office Manager. The company also plans to implement internship programs for local young talents.

Sylwia Skorupka, Head of Operation in the company’s Lodz office said: “Seeing what we have achieved so far in our other locations in Poland, we hope to repeat this success in Gdansk. We want to appear on the Tri-City market, thus attracting local talents and become an important player among the already well-established development community here. Thanks to cooperation with technical universities and initiatives such as Invest in Pomerania, we hope to become rooted in the region and promote our brand among local residents.”

The arrival of a new IT investor in Pomerania confirms that the region has become an important technological hub in this part of Europe. It is one of many modern technology companies that have decided to develop in the region thanks to the support of Invest in Pomerania, a local government initiative coordinated by the Pomerania Development Agency.

“The technology sector in the Tri-City has been growing at a rate of 10-15% annually for several years. The market is becoming more and more mature every year, which provides additional development opportunities for companies such as Godel Technologies. For the Pomeranian Voivodeship, this is an important part of the economic development strategy – we want to attract companies that support advanced processes with high added value to our region, because it gives a positive stimulus to the development of the entire economy of Pomerania” – says Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
