Godel has been shortlisted in the Best Overall Testing Project – Retail category at the European Software Testing Awards 2017 along with three other organisations. The final prize will be awarded to the most outstanding testing project in the retail sector.
Godel has submitted a project it undertook with client Clifford Thames, one of the largest car parts retailers, to take the enormous amount of back end parts data and provide access via a user interface. Godel created a unique approach for the manual QA via an automated tests constructor, successfully reducing the test period by a factor of 24.
Judges will consider entrants upon a number of factors:
Evidence of working closely with stakeholders to deliver the project on time and within budget
Demonstration of a successful software testing project utilising a best practice method/technique
Verification of project goals, importance, achievements and successful results
Evidence and evaluation of overcoming project challenges/obstacles
Detailed discussion around project methodology and justification of resource choices
Evidence of commitment to industry best practices and standards
“Godel takes a consultative approach to working with clients and provides the capabilities and skills to help retailers digitise legacy systems and move their business to the cloud,” explains Neil Turvin, CEO, Godel.
“It’s always nice to receive recognition for projects and we look forward to the awards ceremony in November.”
The European Software Testing Awards 2017 Ceremony will be held on 21 November 2017 at Old Billingsgate, London.
