Leading hotel booking specialists The LateRooms Group (TLRG) have made one of their most important reservations by selecting St Ann’s Hospice as one of its nominated charities.

One of its first moves was to accept a cheque from key IT partners Godel for the hospice which cares for more than 3,000 patients, their families and carers each year across Greater Manchester.

Manchester-based Godel is a leading software development company and works alongside the product team at TLRG which was set up in Salford in 1999.

It started life as an ‘on the day for the day’ booking site for unsold rooms and, by 2007, had joined the world’s leading leisure travel group TUI Travel PLC. It now offers more than 65,000 properties worldwide with more UK hotels than anyone else.

Stuart Hughes from TLRG said: “We’re proud of our Salford heritage and our association with St Ann’s Hospice which has one of its sites in Little Hulton which, of course, is in the same city.

“We’re thrilled that Godel, one of our most valued partners, has made this donation to help launch our continued support for the charity.

“St Ann’s is one of the oldest hospices in the country and everyone is aware of the wonderful work it does caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses. It’s important the business community plays its part so therefore we’re delighted to link up with the charity which relies on donations to keep going.
