We were eagerly awaiting the release of this year’s CIO100. The list that recognises the most transformative CIO’s in the UK. Why? Because these are the people who have made the biggest impact in the last 12 months.

Although a regular topic within industry publications both on and offline, it’s important to understand how the role of the CIO has changed over recent years. Previously A CIO’s responsibilities focused on the physical nuts and bolts within an organisations technology infrastructure, but a shift in recent years has propelled modern day CIO’s to have more emphasis on digital and how technology is their foundation for them to work from, the platform to embrace the digital age.

Technology is now the driving force behind an organisations business model and their offerings. CIO’s now have to use technology to increase the value which they give to their clients but also internally too, upping conversions all with the business goal of increasing revenue or profit.

We sent the Godel Garland to the CIO’s as our way of saying congratulations – getting named on the list is no small feat!  If you are on the CIO100 list but haven’t yet received your trophy, then get in touch and let us know, we will make sure you get one!
