Godel, the nearshore software development company, has reported its annual turnover has reached over £9 million for the year to December 2016. This is a 62% increase in turnover from the same period last year when revenues reached over £5.5 million.

A string of high profile client wins in 2016 including Virgin Holidays, Jet2, Rentalcars, Clifford Thames, Boden and First Utility means that the company has recorded another record trading year and will look to add another 100 employees across its operations in 2017 – taking its total to 450 staff.

No longer is data driven decision making the monopoly of the C-suite, but the balance of power has shifted from IT to the business – including departmental heads – which means its not just required by the IT director, but also by the CEO, CFO, COO, head of marketing, sales, purchasing and customers.
