Spinningfields Manchester hosted the Manchester Duck Race in aid of local children's charity Brainwave, on April 2nd 2010.  The GodelTech team supported the charity by purchasing a Godel sponsored duck which, after some cosmetic changes took part in a race of over 5000 sponsored ducks.....AND WON !!

The ducks were released at 2pm on Good Friday along the Spinningfields stretch of the River Irwell between Irwell Street Bridge and finishing at Albert Bridge.

Manchester-based software development specialist Gödel Technologies (GodelTech) has just announced that they are relocating to new offices in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Terry Bland, managing director of GodelTech explained.

“This is our fifth move in Minsk in five years and has been solely driven by the success of our business. The new premises are located in Rubin Plaza and comprise of 400M2 of class A office space, allowing us to accommodate up to 100 staff.”

 

GodelTech has been awarded a contract to develop a new electronic requisition ordering system for Sheffield Children’s hospital’s IT department.

 

GodelTech has been appointed as a technical partner to telecommunications company, Name Your Number (NYN). Name Your Number creates significant value from a telecommunications company’s under performing asset, its mobile telephone number pool. It enables end user customers to design, search for, acquire and use numbers which have a personal attraction to them. Using their expertise of personalisation and their unique software, NYN can generate significant revenues for its telecommunications clients.
 

 

GodelTech is to implement a virtual learning portal for the NHS. The online system will help NHS employees from across the country to receive high quality Masters training whilst continuing their professional careers by studying at their own convenience.

 

Terry Bland, Managing Director of Godel Technologies was this month named in Insider Magazine's first round of names for "42 Under 42". The feature, which Insider Magazine has been successfully running for 17 years, is aimed at identifying and rewarding the skill and talents of the new, up and coming crop of regional entrepreneurs who are all aged under 42.

The exclusive class will be recognized at the North West 42 Under 42 Dinner 2009, which will take place in October at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester.
