    Terry Bland, Managing Director of GodelTech was this month named in Insider Magazine's first round of names for "42 Under 42". The feature, which Insider Magazine has been successfully running for 17 years, is aimed at identifying and rewarding the skill and talents of the new, up and coming crop of regional entrepreneurs who are all aged under 42.

    The exclusive class will be recognized at the North West 42 Under 42 Dinner 2009, which will take place in October at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester.

    Following several successful implementations of Microsoft-based solutions delivered to the NHS, Microsoft has endorsed GodelTech as a trusted supplier of software development and integration services to the NHS.

    Solutions include bespoke development, Sharepoint portals, Virtual Learning Environments, Identity Lifecycle Management, Business Intelligence and Performance Management Dashboards.

    PARASOL, the Warrington-based payroll outsourcing group, has invested £300,000 in upgrading its online payment services for its contractor clients. The company, which acts as an employer for sole traders and contractors to make their financial management easier, has put all of its services online, and upgraded their usability. The new online portal, called My Parasol, is a joint development between Parasol and Manchester Science Park-based Gödel Technologies Europe, and has been designed to make inputting information quicker and easier for contractors.

    Each Microsoft Certified Partner must employ a minimum number of Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) who have a demonstrated level of technical expertise and the proven ability to deliver solutions featuring Microsoft products. MCPs must pass certification exams developed by Microsoft. In addition to this a number of customer references are required to gain this award.
