Godeltech representatives attended SQA Days

Godel representatives attended the 4th International Conference of Software Quality Assurance Specialists which took place on November 17, 2008, in Minsk. The conference was devoted to testing and software quality assurance covering various aspects in this area of expertise including functional, performance, configuration, usability, security testing, test automation and tools, static methods of quality assurance and general management issues in QA.

SQA Days is a unique conference held annually and uniting leading experts in the sphere of testing, quality management and other IT experts. Over 350 people from the CIS and other countries took part in this event in Minsk and more than 20 topics were presented. This is the fourth year the Conference was held and it is symbolic that it was held in Belarus, where IT education is particularly strong.

Godel Technologies QA Manager Anna Lukashik gave a presentation on the Decision-Making Process and on the Example of Choosing an Automatic Testing Tool. This topic is very hot nowadays since a lot of companies and professionals all over the world are faced with the need to make decisions by having to choose among several alternatives, but lacking the instrument to do this professionally. The presentation given by Anna raised a lot of questions and discussions with the conference participants. In order to maintain this area of research Anna is setting up a blog devoted to this problem where everyone can share their thoughts and opinions along with the practical advice on using the suggested methods.
