Minsk is in a GMT +2 time zone, however all Developers based here work a UK/ European day, so they are always available during office hours. You can contact them by phone (UK number), by email, messenger or skype. It’s up to you.
A Project Manager with excellent English skills will be assigned to your project, and will be available during office hours. In addition, our Project Tracking System is accessible via this website and allows you to see what is happening on your project and log any issues or changes any time.
Well that’s entirely up to you, but all of our Developers and Project Managers speak excellent English and are continually improving their English skills and cultural awareness; with an in-house English tutor.
We offer a support package for all projects, this is an optional and tailored service so you decide how much or little support you require.
Kurt Gödel is probably best known for being a good friend of Albert Einstein, which is one of the reasons that we named ourselves after him, as we see ourselves very much as the scientist’s friend. Of course, he also wrote his Incompleteness theorem, which was a major piece of mathematical genius. Want to know more about Gödel? Click

What size of companies do you work with?
Most of our clients businesses vary in size from start-ups and spin-off companies from Universities to companies with about 100 employees. However, much of our work ends up being used in blue chip company operations.
Can I meet the Development team?
Of course! It is not unusual for our clients to go to Minsk to visit our Development Centre or for our Developers to spend time at one of our clients’ offices in the UK or in Europe. We find that this helps our team to integrate well with clients and promotes better working relationships.
What is so good about your Developers?
What can we say? We employ some of the best Developers available. Belarus was the former Soviet Union’s incubation centre for academic & technical innovation. Imagine a city the size of Birmingham with 9 Technical Universities and you start to get the picture.
Principally, all our developers are scientists, each qualified to at least Masters level, if not to PhD level; this means that they understand our client’s complex scientific problems. Hence, they are in a far better position to develop optimised code for client applications.
If that wasn’t enough, all of our Developers are exceptionally motivated, they are committed to the projects they are working on and want to make them successful. And finally, all of our Developers love a challenge, so the more complex or innovative the work the better!
We believe that the Intellectual Property (IP) that we develop on behalf of clients should belong to them, so unless we have entered into a joint venture, the IP belongs to you on completion and full payment of the project.
What about confidentiality?
Confidentiality is paramount at Godeltech and is crucial to our business model. In addition, as we have virtually zero staff turnover, our clients’ secrets do not migrate to competitors either.
That depends on what type of project you bring to us and how well the project is initially specified. There are principally 2 modes of charging:
Fixed price model
If the project scope is very precise and the outcome of the project is fixed, then a fixed price quote can be offered based on that scope.
Time & materials model
If it is not certain what the best development route would be for a project or if an initial specification needs to be developed, then the project would be priced on a time & materials basis. Usually the project would start with an investigation and analysis phase to decide the development path and produce a phased development plan.
What if something goes wrong?
Godel Technologies Ltd is a UK limited company registered in England, so we are governed by European law. You are not dealing with an intangible foreign entity.
Do you engage in joint ventures?
We are currently looking at several joint ventures with clients, and hope to expand this activity over the coming year
Can you give me any references of existing clients?
We would be delighted to give you references of existing clients or put you in touch with one of our clients. (Have a look at our
Testimonials &
Case Studies sections) or Contact Ray for more information
No, all of our Developers are employed by our company, so that we are able to supply you teams of Developers who are used to working together and can integrate with you quicker.
Expertise
What are your areas of expertise?
We work mainly in the hi-tech and scientific solutions area and have extensive experience of complex mathematical modelling for science, business & retailing, grid computing, building VoIP tools and applications, as well as middleware and business process improvement tools. Take a look at our
Expertise section.
Can you develop complex mathematical and scientific applications?
Of course, it’s what we do best. Our Developers love challenging projects, it keeps their minds fresh!
What technology platform will be used for my application?
Most applications are written on a .NET or Java platform, but each project is different, take a look at our
Technical Skills Profile to give you a more comprehensive picture:
Outsourcing
According to Wikipedia: “Outsourcing is the delegation of non-core operations from internal production to an external entity specialising in the management of that operation”.
We like to think that outsourcing is an opportunity for your company to harness skills that you don’t have in-house, without the costs of adding another department.
What benefits do I get from Outsourcing?
First of all, you get a team-on-demand, you don’t have the time lag of recruitment and integration. You get the right skills your project needs at all times during the project. You harness the experience of a team that has executed many projects and has exceptional expertise. You shorten the time to market for your application, by using a team of Developers rather than an individual. At the end of the project, you own the Intellectual Property (IP) rights associated with the software and the source code. Finally, there are no further costs associated with the project. However, most clients go onto develop further projects with us.
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just hire a contractor?
For the tiniest of projects, possibly. However, will the contractor have the right expertise for all areas of the project? Will they be able to test their own work objectively? What happens if one of your competitors gets to market first?
What about quality of service?
The quality of our service is paramount. This is why our Development teams are located in Minsk; a pool of the best software talent available. We have separate QA teams to test the code. All projects follow a proven methodology of iterative development with clear milestones & deliverables; giving the client tangible results. The projects are continually monitored by our Project Managers, and the client can always use our Project Tracking System online to monitor the project. Finally, all of our applications are fully documented.
