Syberfix Support Suite

Overview

Syberfix Solutions Inc. was established in 2001 to address problems in the computer repair industry.  Today, Syberfix is improving the computer repair process online, by providing powerful remote repair tools for computer repair companies and IT Helpdesks to deliver improved computer support services to home, small business and commercial customers.

Problem

Syberfix Solutions wanted to capitalise on business knowledge, to offer a new generation of customer support to a broad range of customers within an extremely challenging timeframe and at a very attractive price.  Syberfix’s desire to show customers their commitment to e-Support by the creation of a feature rich working prototype of the application meant that the time-line for this project was just four months from inception to delivery.

Solution

Syberfix selected Gödel Technologies Europe based on the company’s expertise validated by a successful research and development initiative for the government of British Columbia on distance learning, which employed the same technologies and tools as the e-Support Suite core.  In March 2002, the working prototype of e-Support Suite was released. 

In order to turn the working prototype into a system that works, Godeltech mobilised a team of software and quality assurance engineers, system architects and technical writers. While Syberfix focused on core business development, Godeltech has covered the entire product development lifecycle, from system architecture to testing and project management.  In June 2004, the first version of Syberfix Support Suite was released and presented by Godeltech and Syberfix project stakeholders to British Columbia Technology Council members.
